Faith Christian Center began on August 18, 1996 in a small church at 7500 Merrill Road with 12 adults who voluntarily moved from Detroit, MI to Jacksonville, FL to assist Bishop Davis and Pastor April with opening this church. The church soon added multiple services, outgrowing the initial facility and began holding services at Landmark Middle School. We later purchased and renovated a former grocery store to hold our services, while we were constructing our current 70,000 square foot facility.

Faith Christian Center is a non-denominational Charismatic Church with a vision to teach people the Word of God in a way that easy to understand and easy to apply to their everyday lives. We purpose to serve our generation with love and strength as King David served his generation. Faith Christian Center is not a black church or a white church. It's a church where Jesus is Lord and we're striving for our church to be a good representation of what Heaven will look like. We believe that God has created His people as a people of victory, not defeat. As such, our goal is to instruct God's people in the life of victory He has ordained for them and cause them to walk in the revelation that they are, "Born to Win."

At Faith Christian Center we believe church membership is a covenant commitment that should be undertaken with proper information. For that reason, we have a series of classes designed to give the prospective member a better understanding of what we believe, our church governmental structure, what to expect from their church, and what their church expects from them. Faith Christian Center is located in the Arlington area of Jacksonville, FL. The major landmark near the church is Regency Square Mall. The physical address of the church is 8985 Lone Star Road, near the intersection of Lone Star Road and Millcreek Road. The church is best accessed by traveling Atlantic Blvd., the Arlington Expressway, Southside Blvd., or FL Hwy 9A.
